Keika is best known for his woodblock-printed picture book of chrysanthemums entitled Keika Hyakukiku (i.e., 100 Chrysanthemums by Keika). Only seventy-five of the intended one hundred pictures of different horticultural varieties of chrysanthemums were published, starting in 1893. Each volume included twenty-five pictures.
